On Friday, September 9 in Fresh York City, Dixie D’Amelio attended the Harper’s Bazaar Global Icons Party while sporting a new style.
Prior to the performance, the 21-year-old singer completely removed all of her hair, and she even made a YouTube video to show the procedure.
She adds in the video, “I’ve wanted to do this since sixth grade,” at one point.
Since she had undergone a significant shift herself when she was younger, Dixie’s mother, Heidi, didn’t appear to mind.
“I’m very happy for her.” It was quite empowering, she remarked. “Do you know what I got a lot of? Many people questioned me, saying things like, “Oh, are you going through something? ’”
Although Dixie acknowledged that she has been depressed lately, she said that she “doesn’t want to say anything because I don’t want everyone to think I’m having a mental breakdown.”
Everyone I’ve told thinks it’s going to be fantastic, and if someone doesn’t like it, who cares?, she continued. The thing grows back.
