Darren “IShowSpeed,” one of YouTube’s biggest names, has been named the Breakout Streamer category winner in the latest edition of the Streamy Awards. The event, which returned on December 4 for the 12th time since its inception in 2009, brought together a number of notable creators and streamers.
IShowSpeed has been named the Breakout Streamer Award winner for his exploits over the last year. From January to December, the young streamer amassed over 10 million subscribers, placing him among the platform’s fastest-growing creators.
Darren was one of five people nominated for the aforementioned award. Emiru, Kai Cenat, kkatamina, and QTCinderella were the others.

IShowSpeed appears to have cracked the code for YouTube streaming. Despite the gaps between his streams these days, his broadcasts still draw tens of thousands of viewers.
Over 108K concurrent viewers watched one of his recent streams, which involved a watch party for the World Cup match between Portugal and Ghana.
Recognizing his contributions, the Streamy Awards 2022 decided to bestow the Breakout Streamer award on him. Unfortunately for the audience, the creator was unable to collect the trophy in person during the award ceremony.
Darren has yet to respond to his award win on social media. According to one of his fan update accounts, the streamer was scheduled to travel during the Streamy event.
Nonetheless, fans reacted positively to his latest victory, with the majority of comments congratulating him.

Several awards were given out at the Streamy Awards 2022 to well-known figures in the streaming community. Among them was the Streamer of the Year Award, which was given to Kai Cenat.

Jimmy “MrBeast” was named Creator of the Year, and Felix “xQc” was named Just Chatting winner. Ludwig, who moved to YouTube about a year ago, was named Variety Streamer of the Year.
Tarik, a professional CS:GO player, was awarded the trophy for Competitive Gamer. Meanwhile, Markiplier received the Gamer award.
Despite the fact that IShowSpeed was not present in the arena, the trophy is expected to be sent to his home address. Fans are hoping to see it during one of his broadcasts.
