Miley Cyrus is a singer, songwriter, actor, and, as of December 9, barber. During her most recent “Tonight Show” appearance, Cyrus was tasked with shaving host Jimmy Fallon‘s beard in front of a live studio audience, and the results weren’t half bad.
When asked if she had prior beard-shaving experience, Cyrus replied candidly, “No. I’m not sure what you’ll look like, “before draped a cape over Fallon “It’s not as bad as it looks,” she joked as she began trimming his scruff with shaky upward motions.
The quips continued during their impromptu salon session, with Fallon impersonating a wrestler when Cyrus first styled his facial hair into a goatee. While shaving his chin, Cyrus exclaimed, “I think it’s in my mouth,” and Fallon added, “You just threw a chunk on the ground.”
After completing the upper-lip area, Cyrus revealed her work to the audience, brushing excess hair clippings from Fallon’s face like a true pro. Fallon had been sporting the beard since the MTV Video Music Awards, where his new look piqued viewers’ interest.
Cyrus sat down with “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon to discuss her upcoming New Year’s Eve special, which she’ll co-host with her godmother, Dolly Parton. She revealed several musical guests who will be joining the celebration, including Latto, Sia, and Rae Sremmurd, and teased that more performers will be announced as the concert approaches.
