The Voice Season 22 welcomes Camila Cabello as a new coach
Cabello expressed her excitement for joining The Voice in the latest preview, claiming that since she first appeared on a singing competition programme, she has come full circle (The X Factor USA). “It feels nice to be able to reflect on what I’ve learnt and support someone on their journey,” the singer remarked.
“I’m searching for individuals that are capable of succeeding outside of this show. For example, folks that I can recognise from a record,” Cabello said. Diversity, representation, and letting all various types of individuals convey their stories via music create the best, most vibrant music scene.
John Legend, a different judge, talked on Cabello’s role as his team’s Battle Advisor during Season 21. She “already is going to be such a strong opponent for us,” he said, expressing his opinion. He described her as “gifted” and “clever.”
Gwen Stefani stated that Cabello is “doing a great job” in the meantime. She continued by saying that it seems as though the new coach has always been there and is competent. Cabello has a long history in the music business, according to Stefani.
