Charli D’Amelio is a well-known TikTok content creator. She was the most-followed user on the platform for over two years before being dethroned by Khaby Lame in early 2022.
Charli has returned to dancing after becoming an internet sensation, most notably competing in Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars and winning the trophy after weeks of fierce competition.
In the aftermath of that victory, the 18-year-old influencer has been accused of some serious and unproven allegations.
These allegations are made by Kyle Marisa Roth, a self-described ‘Gossip Activist’ whose TikTok content focuses on spreading rumours about high-profile celebrities.
An insider on TikTok accuses Charli D’Amelio of using drugs at a Dancing with the Stars event.
One of her most recent accusations involves Charli, whom Roth claims was high on drugs at a Dancing with the Stars event in early November 2022.
Roth’s video is referred to as a ‘blind item,’ which is another term for gossip that lacks a source and does not identify the subjects involved.
“This is about a Dancing with the Stars event earlier this month,” Roth explained in her video. “Last night, this barely-legal, A-list TikTok star with millions of followers was at an event and was skiing like a pro.” (By’skiing,’ Roth means drug use.)
Despite Roth’s claim in her account bio that “all [is] alleged here,” her video about Charli has received over 37,000 views.
These unverified rumours have elicited a range of reactions on social media. “You have no proof,” one user responded, while another called the allegations “FALSE.”
At the time of writing, the TikTok star had yet to respond to the allegations, and no clear evidence had been published to back up Roth’s claims.
