Why Millie Bobby Brown Didn’t Attend the 2022 Emmys

Sadly, Millie Bobby Brown was unable to attend the 2022 Emmy Awards, also known as television’s biggest night. However, there is no need to fret, since she has a valid excuse this time around.

The Stranger Things star was expected to attend the major awards ceremony, but she has been quite busy recently as an actress, fashion icon, and beauty tycoon. We can’t really fault her for skipping this one as she just finished production on the fourth season of the programme and has been working on Enola Holmes.

Overall, Stranger Things has a good chance of winning awards, especially since it’s up for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Narrative Period or Fantasy Program, Outstanding Stunt Performance, Outstanding Special Visual Effects, Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Period and/or Character Makeup, Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Narrative Period or Fantasy Program, and Outstanding Drama Series. Actually, the show has already taken home five of these prizes, so it’s having a great evening!

Millie was not recognised for her brilliant performance as Eleven. (Let’s face it, she and Sadie Sink were BOTH ROBBED!) And if you’re expecting things might change next year, I’ve got bad news for you: Despite the fact that season 4 wasn’t complete when nominations for this year’s ceremony were due, they unfortunately don’t qualify.

However, it appears that the slight (my words, not hers) is not bothering her at all because she has recently been taking some (much-deserved!) time off.

Additionally, Millie certainly needs some R&R tonight given that Stranger Things season 5 is already in production and the recent announcement that she would be attending Purdue University this autumn (online, of course).
