It was captured on film that 6ix9ine appeared to have attacked a DJ in Dubai for not playing his songs.
A video of 6ix9ine throwing boloes at a club DJ in Dubai who wouldn’t play the rapper’s music because he was a “snitch” was shared on the Instagram page @rapsszn on Friday, Sept. 23. The DJ may have been the target of Tekashi’s punches in the video as several people attempted to separate the two guys. A man can be seen in the video at one point hastily grabbing something off 6ix9ine’s neck while creeping up behind him.
In a another footage, the club DJ walks up to the mic and says, “I don’t play snitches,” explaining why he won’t be playing any of 6ix9ine’s music.
“I replied, “No.” I don’t act like way because of where I’m from and how I was raised “Added he. “I lost too many folks to such kinds of people.”
“Stop lying and spreading fake news!!! The DJ was talking shit on the mic and got handled. Stop fake news,” he wrote.
When the video went viral on social media, allegations began to spread that 6ix9ine also had his chains ripped off during the confrontation. The “Gummo” artist immediately refuted that in the blog post’s comments section.
