In a new cover story interview that will be published on Monday, City Girls’ Yung Miami and JT are open and honest about their individual connections with Diddy and Lil Uzi Vert.
The pair discussed their ever growing influence on pop culture while speaking with Pop Sugar. They also opened up about their own personal lives with writer Shelton Boyd-Griffith. Miami struck a lighthearted note when it came to addressing rumours and misconceptions regarding her and Diddy’s relationship, which she defines as “very supportive.” Earlier this year, Diddy called Miami’s “Go Papi!” sign at the BET Awards “one of the sweetest things anyone’s ever done for me.”
Miami responded, “People don’t know us. “They have no idea what the fuck is going on. As I enter, I say, “Shut the fuck up.” You guys have no idea what’s going on. Me and him are getting hitched, bang! No, I’m just saying.”
Of course, the friendship between JT and Uzi has frequently made headlines. JT disclosed in the new interview that she had through a difficult time in her life after moving to New York, all the while attempting to internalise the changes she had experienced. In the article, it is mentioned that JT currently resides in the Calabasas region with Uzi and that the relationship has transformed her into a “far better person.”
