Lil Uzi Vert lends support to Yeat’s new 12-track EP, LYF, which features his song “Flawlss” as its opening track.
The sequel to Yeat’s 2 Aliv, which was published in February of this year, is called LYF. Later, under the name 2 Aliv (Gek Pack), he re-released the project with nine new songs, two of which also included Uzi. A number of the songs on this most recent effort, including the lead single “Talk” and the BenjiCold-produced “Com On,” were made on beats by BYNX.
Yeat previously contributed to the Minions: The Rise of Gru album with the song “Rich Minion,” which was crucial in igniting the viral Gentleminions craze that drew throngs of fans to the movie wearing formal attire.
The late Juice WRLD’s “Lucid Dreams (Remix),” Trippie Redd’s “Holy Smokes,” Meek Mill’s “Blue Notes 2,” Nigo’s “Heavy,” and other recent songs feature Uzi, who has been a very active collaborator. Since 2020’s Eternal Awake, the rapper of the song “XO Tour Llif3” has not released a solo album.
