A video of 6ix9ine speaking with cops has leaked.
On Monday, September 5, a brief video that appeared on TikTok and appeared to have been recorded by a bystander showed 6ix9ine conversing with two police officers in what appeared to be a parking lot. The rapper looks to be having a casual discussion with the officers and makes a few stops to gesture in various locations, so it doesn’t seem like he is being arrested.
Naturally, the video sparked a lot of jokey comments about Tekashi’s connection with the law.
It was posted, “You see him pointing bro was snitching fr,” by one user.
Another user added, “Bros at work,” accompanied with the emoticon for sobbing while laughing.
Another commenter made a joke, “He like ‘hey buddy call FBI agent Jimmy he knows me’ he would tell yall to let me go.”
Despite the title of the film, which reads “6ix9ine caught by the cops,” there isn’t any proof that the Brooklyn rapper-federal informant was actually being detained or taken into custody.
Recently, 6ix9ine has mostly kept to himself. He was discovered in a South Florida petrol station unattended back in June. The TattleTales rapper identified himself as “Lil Pump” when asked by store staff who he was. Late last month, he made news when his girlfriend was detained for reportedly hitting Tekashi.
It’s been quiet for the contentious rhymer musically. In April, he released “Gine,” his first song since 2020. Since then, he hasn’t released any new solo music.
