Billie Eilish and Damon Albarn will Reportedly Work Together at Some Point

In the future, Damon Albarn has discussed the prospect of working with Billie Eilish.

The pop queen performed “Feel Good Inc” and “Happier Than Ever” with the frontman of Blur and Gorillaz during her headlining concert at Coachella 2022 in April.

Eilish addressed the crowd and said, “This man transformed my life in many ways and changed my full sense of what music, art, and creation might be.

“The Good, The Bad, and the Queen were my first favourite band when I was six years old. Blur and Gorillaz transformed the world, and this dude is truly a genius, and that’s that.”

In an interview with the LA Times before to that collaboration, Albarn praised Eilish and her brother/collaborator Finneas as “very creative songwriter[s].” The singer’s “minor and strange” sound was appreciated, and he continued, “I think she’s great.”

When asked about the possibility of collaborating with Eilish on a studio-based project, Albarn said yes in a statement to Apple Music 1 today (September 27).

Indeed, it will. Yes,” he affirmed. “I believe we continue to try. It just comes down to schedules.

Who knows?,” Albarn responded when asked about the sound of the potential collaborative single. It might sound like dark satanic metal or folk music like a babbling brook.

Also expressing his respect for Eilish’s work, Albarn.

She actually only came to my attention through her music.

Meanwhile, Tame Impala, Thundercat, Beck, and Stevie Nicks will all appear on Gorillaz’ upcoming album, “Cracker Island.”

Recently, the latter performer, who will be heard on the song “Oil,” talked about her experience of becoming “an honorary Gorilla.” I’m so excited for it to be released because I’m so proud of it, said Nicks.
