When Emma Stone and husband Dave McCary do make a public appearance, sports games are their preferred date-night outing. On Jan. 31, the “Cruella” actor, sporting a new bob, attended the Los Angeles Lakers vs. New York Knicks game with the former “Saturday Night Live” director. Michael B. Jordan, Hasan Minhaj, and a newly bald Pete Davidson were among the celebrities in the courtside audience.
The new parents were last seen together at a baseball game between the San Diego Padres and the New York Mets, where they were booed for showing their Padre pride. When they appeared on the Jumbotron in front of a stadium full of Mets fans, the pair shrugged and toasted the crowd in their Padre bomber jackets.
While Stone and McCary have never attended a red carpet together, they have shown glimpses of their romance while sitting courtside at sporting events.
Since meeting on the set of “SNL” in 2016, the two have been notoriously private. Despite the fact that they announced their engagement on McCary’s Instagram in December 2019, they are said to have married in secret in the fall of 2020. Stone gave birth to a baby girl named Louise Jean McCary in March 2021, after the actor’s grandmother, Jean Louise Morgan.
