Jack Harlow will co-host ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon is about to get a first-rate co-host. As announced on Tuesday (Sept. 27), the comedian will share hosting duties for the Tonight Show with guest Jack Harlow when the rapper appears on the late-night show in October.

The special episode on Thursday, Oct. 6, will feature Harlow assisting Fallon with his nightly monologue, interviewing the night’s guest Dwyane Wade, and introducing a musical performance by Quavo & Takeoff. The “Nail Tech” singer will appear on The Tonight Show for the fourth time, having previously served as both a guest and a performer.

Cardi B, Dave Grohl, and Shawn Mendes have all taken turns co-hosting the show with Fallon in recent years, so Harlow is by no means the first musician to do so. The most recent co-host and guest was Megan Thee Stallion, who amusingly grabbed the show from Fallon as the two were interviewing Natalia Dyer of Stranger Things. A week later, Demi Lovato took over.

Exactly five months after the release of his second studio album, Come Home The Kids Miss You, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and gave the Louisville native his first-ever solo No. 1 single with “First Class,” Harlow will begin presenting late-night shows.

He will perform at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center one day following his Tonight Show appearance as part of his current record tour.

The Tonight Show will also have performances and special appearances from the Arctic Monkeys, Camila Cabello, Zac Efron, Dwayne Johnson, Lea Michele, Modern English, Zedd & Maren Morris, Charlie Puth, and others in addition to Harlow, Wade, Quavo, and Takeoff.
