Karlie Kloss is putting her distinct maternity style on display.
The supermodel was photographed out and about in New York City on Thursday, where she looked sophisticated in a black skintight maxi dress by Dion Lee. Cutouts covered the upper half of the long-sleeved piece, which featured cold shoulders and teardrop-shaped holes across the décolletage and torso. She kept her accessories simple, wearing matching black pumps, layers of dainty gold chain necklaces, and tiny cuff earrings.
Kloss was among the A-listers who attended the Met Gala on Monday, where she revealed that she is expecting her second child with husband Joshua Kushner.
“This is the first time I’m sharing my news,” she said of the big reveal during a press conference at the event.
The model arrived on the carpeted steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a black floor-length gown by Loewe with a golden yellow print across the torso, waist, and sleeves, which mimicked the shadow of the chunky pearl strands she accessorised with from Garrard Jewellery. She completed the look with black Jimmy Choo heels, pearl-and-diamond earrings, and a diamond cluster ring.
Kloss and Kushner’s first child, a son named Levi Joseph, was born in March 2021. Kushner announced their baby’s arrival at the time by posting a sweet photo of Levi bundled up in a blanket to Instagram. “Welcome to the world,” he wrote alongside the photo.
