For his upcoming Netflix production, Entergalactic, Kid Cudi has released a new video that highlights the show’s romance plotline.
The rapper, real name Scott Mescudi, collaborated with Kenya Barris through their production businesses, Mad Solar and Khalabo Ink Society, to bring the lengthy clip to reality.
The latest teaser, which follows one released in June, focuses more on the romance storyline, following the character of Jabari, an accomplished artist, as he moves into his dream Manhattan apartment and develops feelings for Meadow, his next-door neighbour. Cudi, Jessica Williams, Timothée Chalamet, Ty Dolla $ign, Vanessa Hudgens, 070 Shake, Jaden Smith, Teyana Taylor, Macaulay Culkin, and more actors and actresses are featured in the cast.
Entergalatic also follows Jabari as he strives to strike a balance between love and success. Cudi said in a statement that “Entergalactic is everything I’ve always wanted to accomplish, build a long-form visual accompaniment to an album.”
“The music was the catalyst for everything, helping to bring this plot and these characters to life. I can’t wait for you to finally experience Entergalactic, which is unlike anything I’ve ever done and unquestionably my most ambitious project to date.
An eagerly anticipated full-length album, Cudi’s tenth, with the same name, will be released in support of the initiative. On September 30, both the album and the performance will be made available. With the tune “Do What I Want,” the celebrity gave the album a sneak peek in June.
As part of his To The Moon 2022 World Tour, Cudi is presently on the road in North America. After concluding his performances on that continent on Saturday (September 17) at the Moon Man’s Landing Festival in Cleveland, Ohio, he will go to Japan for one performance in Tokyo before continuing his tour through Europe in November. A Kid Named Cudi, the rapper’s first mixtape, was officially released on streaming sites in July. On July 17, 2008, New York streetwear company 10.Deep and Fool’s Gold first made the record available. The album, which included the smash song “Day ‘n Nite,” attracted future partner Kanye West’s notice.
