Casanova turned himself in to the FBI in late 2020 after being charged with RICO. According to the prosecution, the rapper of “Don’t Run” was the gang’s leader. They think Cas oversaw a plot that stretched from New York to Florida when he was serving in this capacity. According to Rolling Stone, “prosecutors claimed that the conspiracy took place in New York City and upstate from 2004 through 2020.”
Casanova has been charged with murder and drug trafficking but has refuted the allegations. Casanova admitted guilt to federal charges of narcotics trafficking and racketeering in May. He acknowledged to perpetrating a number of crimes while running an interstate gang, according to NBC.
According to the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office, Casanova confessed to a Florida shooting in July 2020, a New York City robbery in August 2018, and trafficking more than 100 kg of marijuana.
The next hearing for him is scheduled for December. He might receive a sentence of up to 60 years in jail, with a minimum of five years.
