DaBaby’s popularity with women appears to have been unaffected by his controversies — most recently, he was forced to reject a woman’s sexual advances, much to her chagrin.
After putting on a rousing performance at Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam on Sunday (June 4), the “Suge” rapper was approached by a female fan who volunteered her “oral services” to the North Carolina rapper as he was leaving.
The woman is seen approaching DaBaby and his entourage in a video that went viral. In the video, she can be heard clearly asking the rapper to “pull it out” and “suck it right now.”
While he appeared to be interested at first, the rapper eventually turned her down before briskly walking away. He did, however, appear to say something to the woman as he walked away.
Take a look at the interaction below.
Later, the woman, who appears to go by the Instagram handle most_hated_mara_, chastised DaBaby on her page for denying her the opportunity to handle his package.
She captioned a video she posted after the rejection, “Da baby played so hard everything he rap bout is cap cause he ain’t let me throat baby shit.”
She also tagged several blogs in the post.
In other news, DaBaby’s new single “Shake Sumn” appears to be helping the rapper turn things around, despite a huge drop in sales and popularity since his 2021 controversy over homophobic comments made during a show.
That Grape Juice reported last week that the Charlie Heat-produced song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 92 in its first week, but has since jumped 18 spots to No. 74 this week.
This is the North Carolina rapper’s highest chart position since “Red Light Green Light” peaked at No. 50 in the summer of 2021.
The song was released as part of DaBaby’s Call Da Fireman EP on May 5. On, the track has been gaining traction on TikTok, likely leading to its current chart success.
DaBaby made headlines everywhere with his divisive decisions on the Rolling Loud Miami stage in July 2021. During his set, Baby went on a rant, prompting the raucous crowd to throw their lighters into the air, but many fans were offended by the homophobic tangent.
“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of those deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks,” he said.
“Ladies, if your pussy smells like water, shine your mobile light on it.” If you’re not sucking dick in the parking lot, light up your cellphone.”
He doubled down on his comments despite opportunities to retract them in the moments following the show, which exacerbated the problem. However, during an appearance on LeBron James’ series The Shop earlier this month, the multi-platinum rapper stated that if he could do it all over again, he would handle the situation differently.
