Emma Stone made a stylish entrance this week at South by Southwest for the premiere of “Problemista.” Fruit Tree, Stone and husband Dave McCary’s production company, produced the upcoming comedy film, which stars Tilda Swinton, Julio Torres, RZA, and James Scully.
Stone wore a grey Patou outfit to the premiere of “Problemista” at Austin’s Paramount Theatre. Her ensemble was from the French label’s fall 2023 collection and included a collared button-up jacket and a matching knee-length skirt with a wraparound waist and thigh-high slit. The brand’s white interconnected “P” logo was applied to both pieces, creating a matching set.
Stone accessorised her look with a thin gold necklace and a black leather shoulder bag, allowing the prints to stand out.
Though Stone’s footwear was obscured, she finished her look with heeled leather boots from Patou’s fall 2023 show, staying true to the brand’s original runway look. The sleek silhouette was created by monochrome black uppers with lightly rounded toes, long tongues, and lace-up fronts. Thin stiletto heels up to 4 inches in height completed the look by providing a sharp height boost as well as a neutral complement to Stone’s printed ensemble.
Stone’s appearance at SXSW follows her appearance at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month. During the event, the “La La Land” actress wore a blue and red-striped suit with pointed black-and-white pumps to Louis Vuitton’s fall 2023 fashion show.
